xyWords - a free cross-word anagrams puzzle game for MS-DOS inspired by "WordScapes"
Comes with 30+ sample word puzzles organised into 3 collections.
Complete the puzzles by finding all the valid 3-7 letter words using the letters provided in the circle.
You can create your own ones using the included editor GUI: xyPE

Note - This game is targeted toward an IBM-PC (8088 CPU @ 4.77mhz), 384KB of RAM, MS-DOS 2.11+ and CGA Graphics (4 Colours).
If you plan on running this on a PC that is using EGA/VGA or above graphics - please use the appropriate video setting when starting the game so xyWords knows to simulate the 4-color CGA mode.
If you don't, you'll get some messy colour palettes..

You can run this game using a basic DOSBOX configuration - or - real MS-DOS hardware. I'd love to see a photo/image of this on original hardware :-)

This would be a great addition for the DOS Games Jam Demo Disc, is it OK to include the game on it? (it's intended to be an ISO with fresh DOS games that a user can burn to a disc and play in a retro PC)
