99Things

99Things is a small find-a-thing game where you look for things in puzzle squares and try to complete the puzzle as quickly as possible (or not!).

While it targets MS-DOS based computers from the 1980s it can run in DOSBox too! It is released as Public Domain / Open Source and was written in Quickbasic 4.5

There are different modes you can play 99Things in:

• QuickGame - designed around a single, smaller board with less things to find. 
• 99Things - play on 1 to 4 boards of 99 squares in size (see screenshot).

With these modes you can choose to play a timed game, or a relaxing untimed game. You can choose to clear things when you find them - to reduce the difficulty.

There is also an untimed custom mode where you can tweak the settings to your liking.
